COVINTS offers unpaid skilful internships year round on a variety of result oriented research projects related to the profession. A number of selection procedures follow for getting into an internship program. During the course of their internship, applicants are trained and skilled to the most up-to-date theories, methods and information related to the study of their respective topics. They are versed in the critical questions tackled by Homeland Security Practitioners, Counter Terrorism/Counter Intelligence Experts, Policy-Makers and Researchers, and are mentored in a professional environment geared toward student success. The internship is designed to prepare the next generation of Homeland Security Scholars and Practitioners/Analysts through real-world research experience.

COVINTS's internship program is open to undergraduate and graduate students, scholars as well as for professionals from related fields. Each internship lasts for minimum 3 months, and can be further extend depending on the subject. Due to the company's province, it is imperative that applicants have to go under stringent protocol and for a security clearance by the company administration to apply for further advance internship.

What we seek from interns: Analytics with an additional flair in Geography, English, History, Archeology, Philosophy and Theology. Overall skill areas include speaking, critical thinking, active learning, social perceptiveness, reading comprehension, writing, complex problem solving, and to act under pressure. The competence to speak, read, and translate foreign languages as well as local languages to bridge the gap of cultural differences, is crucial to COVINTS.
